When people start researching water delivery Las Vegas options, they may assume that all bottled water is basically the same. After years of serving customers, I can tell you that isn’t necessarily true.

Purified, alkaline, spring, electrolyte, and glass bottle water can all provide a different experience. At Nevada Crystal Premium, we believe customers should understand their choices before deciding what they want delivered to their home or business.

Purified Water: Where Many Customers Start

Purified water is where many of our customers begin because it is familiar. It has a clean, light, and neutral taste and can be produced through processes such as reverse osmosis or distillation that remove many dissolved impurities and minerals.

For many people, purified water is exactly what they want. However, once customers learn about the other choices available, they sometimes become interested in trying something different.

Alkaline Water: A Smoother Taste

Alkaline water starts with purified water and is adjusted to have a higher pH, often around 8–9+. Depending on the formulation, minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium can contribute to its characteristics.

Personally, alkaline is my favorite. I enjoy the taste, and many of our customers tell us they notice how much smoother it can taste compared with purified water.

We had one customer who ordered purified water exclusively for about six months. After we explained the differences between purified and alkaline, we offered them the opportunity to try a bottle.

They kept some purified water but added a bottle of alkaline to their next delivery. When we followed up, they told us the difference in taste was easy to notice and that they really enjoyed how smooth the alkaline water was.

Electrolyte Water for Active Customers

Another question customers frequently ask is, “What’s the difference between alkaline and electrolyte water?”

The simplest way I explain it is that alkaline water focuses primarily on pH, while electrolyte water focuses on electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium.

We saw this firsthand with a construction company that ordered purified water for its job sites. During the hotter months, one of our representatives suggested trying electrolyte water because their employees were doing physical labor and sweating heavily.

They decided to give it a try. Afterward, they told us they noticed a difference and really liked having electrolyte water available. During the hotter months, electrolyte water became their preferred choice for their job sites.

Spring and Glass Bottle Water

Spring water offers another experience. Because it comes from a natural underground source and can contain naturally occurring minerals, it can have a more natural, mineral-like taste.

Some customers love that taste, while others prefer purified or alkaline. That’s why I always encourage customers to try different options and decide what they personally enjoy.

Glass bottle delivery provides another unique experience. In my opinion, glass can enhance the smoothness and taste of water.

The easiest comparison I give customers is Coca-Cola. Coke tastes great from a can, but many people feel that Coke in a glass bottle has a smoother experience and enhances the taste. I think water can provide a similar experience.

Water Is Not “Just Water”

One thing I have heard throughout my time in the water business is, “Water is just water.”

I completely disagree.

There can be differences in processing, minerals, taste, bottle material, and handling. Sometimes those differences are obvious, while other times they are subtle.
